Wilkes Regional Medical Center has been caring for our community for more than sixty years.

Wilkes Regional Medical Center was established to care for the sick and injured. Our mission is to promote the health of our region as an exceptional and compassionate provider of care.

Wilkes Regional Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The seal of accreditation is accepted nationwide as the highest standards of medical care in personnel, equipment and organization. Since the Joint Commission considers accreditation maintenance as an ongoing education activity for review, inspection and updating you have the added assurance that Wilkes Regional Medical Center will consistently give you the most modern medical care available.

Wilkes Regional Medical Center is owned by the Town of North Wilkesboro and governed by the Hospital Operating Corporation, a conscientious team of leader of the community who volunteer their time. We are licensed for 130 beds, including a 10-bed skilled nursing unit.
